When should I book my event?

Advance booking is recommended as we book on a first-come, first-serve basis.  During the summer months, availability is limited so the sooner the better!

How long do we have the Inflatable?

Our prices are based on a 3-hour time frame.  If you would like a longer period we do offer extra hourly rates, as well as daily rates.  Contact us for the details.  The majority of parties and events last no longer than 3 hours.  These Inflatables are physical and you will find 3 hours plenty long.  If you require a rental time of less than the 3-hour minimum:  we will remove the Inflatable from your site at your time specified, however, the 3-hour minimum price will remain invoiced.

Do you set up out of town?

Yes, we also will deliver to rural addresses.

Do you deliver the Inflatable?

Our price includes free delivery and pickup within a 50 km round trip range of Oakville, MB.  Please call to verify whether your area is included in our free delivery zone.  Your rental time is your actual use of the Inflatable time.  We will arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to your reservation time to allow for inspection and setup of your Inflatable, so please have your setup site planned.  For more information on site setup please view our PDF "How to Prepare Your Site for an inflatable".

If we happen to be late upon arriving, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not reduce the price but your rental time will be extended.  Keep in mind that sufficient time is booked for delivery and setup.  In the event that an Inflatable must be set up in advance to accommodate our rental schedule we will ask your permission.  You will not be charged for extra time used; instead your booked rental time will be invoiced.

What happens if I have bad weather on my booked date?

We do not book rain dates in advance, only 1 booking date is guaranteed!!!

If it is raining the morning of the scheduled delivery we will not start deliveries until the rain has stopped.  Safety comes first when children are involved.  Rain can be a hazard due to slipping and electrical shock near the blower; high winds can be potentially hazardous due to the Inflatable blowing over with children in or on it.  If you do receive your Inflatable and severe weather (rain, high winds, lightning) occurs, there are no discounts available.  Once the Inflatable is set up, you are responsible for the full amount of the Rental Agreement.  We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if severe weather conditions exist or are predicted during the time of your rental or remove the Inflatable early; however, your deposit is still non-refundable.

How does an Inflatable work?

A standard 115-volt, 20 amp electrical plug is needed for each Inflatable.  Upon request, we also have gas generators for rent if required

Do you have insurance?

Most definitely!  Jump and Play Rentals is a fully insured company.  Feel free to contact us for a copy of our policy.  However, you will be required to sign a waiver and safety inspection report upon delivery and setup.  You will also be responsible for the actions of your guests and can be held liable in the event of any damage to the equipment.

How safe is an Inflatable?

Safety is always first when it comes to children.  An adult must supervise each Inflatable. Inflatables require a minimum of one supervisor per Inflatable.  Rules and Regulations for a Jump and Play Rentals Inflatable can be viewed.

Our manufacturers design and construct their products using the safest highest quality materials in the industry.  In addition, Jump and Play Rentals inspects and monitors for wear and tear to make sure they are safe, attractive, fun, and ready for you.  We do ask that you use your judgment to insure your child has a safe and fun experience.

  Emergency Procedures

Emergencies can arise for various reasons.  The following are a few examples of emergencies and how they can be handled.  This is strictly a guide.  Please use common sense when an actual emergency occurs.
Weather - Bad weather can arrive in the form of rain, lightening, or strong winds.  In each case, you want to evacuate the Inflatable as quickly as possible.  Stay calm and stay focused on your job, which is to help your guests exit the Inflatable quickly, but in an orderly fashion.  After everyone has exited the Inflatable, deflate the Inflatable by turning off the blower or fan.  The Inflatables should be folded and taken to a protected area out of the weather, if possible.
Loss of electrical power - This situation tends to cause panic.  Please remain calm because you will have ample time to help your guests exit safely and quickly.  Each person should exit the Inflatable.  Check to see if the Inflatable has become unplugged.  If so, plug the Inflatable back into the outlet and the Inflatable will re-inflate.  Do not reenter until the Inflatable is fully inflated.
Damage - If the Inflatable becomes damaged (ripped or gets a hole) while in your operation, have the guests exit the Inflatable.  Write down what happened, when, and any other details you observed and provide this report to us when we arrive.  Also, contact us immediately and do not attempt to continue to operate the Inflatable.
